Being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is so rewarding. Not only do I get to be creative every day, I also get to be a creative coach, offering fresh project ideas and encouragement to my customers and friends.
I love creating & sharing ideas that I hope will help someone to make that perfect project for a special occasion. After all, creating cards, scrapbook pages, and gift items is about more than just stamps and ink—it’s about sharing a part of yourself with the people you love.
It is fair to say that crafting has been a part of my life since I can remember & I've had a go at lots of crafts over the years. One thing I learnt very quickly is that I like to have the finished project in my hands as soon as possible! So Papercrafting for me fits that mandate, because once you have your chosen card, paper & embellishments you can, with just a tiny bit of imagination create a beautiful handmade card or gift for a friend or loved one in a relatively short time.
However who of us has not had this great idea for a card & we're convinced that we have just the right paper, card etc for the project only to put it together & discover that actually the colours don't match & you then either spend ages trying to find matching paper/card or just settle for something else. It kind of takes the joy out of the project doesn't it?
It was shortly after I had made a Wedding card where I had spent ages in a Craft shop trying to find matching card etc that I saw the Stampin up catalogue & I just thought Wow this is brilliant!! It was a real lightbulb moment! Because the paper, cards & stamp colours co ordinate I realised that by using Stampin Up products I could actually spend more time crafting & so much less time rummaging through my supplies of paper & card.
As it turned out my Wish list was so long when I looked through the catalogue that it just made sense for me to become a Demonstrator after all who doesn't want £130 worth of products for £99, it was sort of a no brainer! That was in January 2017 & I'm still here loving what I do.
